After the candlelight settles, the ornaments begin to move.
The mood starts in a room of old paper, dark mirrors, warm metal, and jewel glass. Nothing is perfectly still. A curved frame catches light, a red stone flashes once, and a thin gold line feels almost like a comet path.
Baroque can be too easy to read as heavy. Here, the intention is different. The collection keeps the sense of devotion and spectacle, then trims the ornament until each detail has room to breathe.
Curves soften the geometry. Relief details sit like tiny heirlooms. Dense color appears in measured strikes: garnet, blue-grey, emerald, old gold, milky pearl. The result is romantic, expressive, and wearable enough to follow a coffee cup, a black lace sleeve, or a denim strap into the day.
02 / Designer's Note
More movement than symmetry.
For this series, Vero steps away from rigid balance. Curves slide across the nail surface, gold lines rise like miniature frames, and jewel centers catch the eye before the full pattern reveals itself.
The details are intentionally small. Heavy carving would overwhelm the nail, so the baroque feeling rests in selective relief: a crest, a crescent, a radiant eye, a heart stone, a tear-shaped glow, a thin constellation of gold.
The result keeps the art form's heat and ceremony without asking the wearer to carry a costume. Each set has enough drama for a night scene and enough restraint for ordinary days.
